Friends and Fam,
If you are feeling the weight of this moment, like myself, I know you’re in need of a gathering soon that will give us hope, help us strategize for what might be next, and fill our cups back up after what has been a very draining year so far.
Incase you missed the email last week, we are moving the pop up at Nana’s to December 7th as a close to our Flying Juke series. Why? Well, one important reason, is to ensure that we get those items above checked off. The only way I could imagine us doing that, is with an opening outing for Juneteenth. This will not be your usual Juneteenth affair, because these are unusual times. We plan to return the Atlantic Ocean, near lands that were once safe havens for our Ancestors revolting and fleeing oppression in the 19th Century.

We will be hosting a special keynote speaker, who will get us fired up and feeling empowered to move forward—better informed. We will also have a fire-arm safety and confidence workshop, as well as corn hole and kites!
We know that the Revolution will not be televised, so let’s come together and spread the word with intention and excitement. Invite someone, you wan’t in your eco-system when things get harder.
Woodard’s Flying Juke is about the exploration of liberation, joy space, and the celebration of our history in a time when our collective memory is being threatened. We are our Museums, we are our benevolent ancestors, we will get creative about caring for our families and communities by organizing like we always have.
If you are unable to join us in June, fret not! We will have more dates, including the return of the Autumnal Equinox on September 27th.
Because my gifts include cultivating the space for us to get full in many ways, that’s what I plan to do. Keep an eye out for more details soon, and if you have questions about your ticket and future events, email us at RevivalSuppers@gmail.com.
Please take good care,
Gabrielle
