Friends, how were the Miso lemon pepper chicken thighs??! I hope it inspired you to play around and try something new. Now, before I share the next recipe, it’s important that you know that miso lemon pepper chicken thighs aren’t limited to the one pot…they also work as an easy weeknight sheet-pan meal over a bed of well oiled root veg or brussel sprouts at 400 degrees for around 30 minutes. You may need to take the chicken off the veg to rest. While those rest roll the veg around in the fat a little more and put them back in the oven for a few until browned to your liking (if necessary) . Don’t forget to put the miso, salt, pepper, and lemon mixture under the skin at least an hour in advance and overnight for the juiciest results.
Don’t put away that miso paste just yet, we will use some in our potliquor for this week’s recipe: Collard Potliquor Mussels! This vibration recipe is both an easy crowd pleaser and a rooted appetizer/ meal that celebrates Black Rural Heritage.
